Privacy policy

This app has no accounts and collects no personal information.

No account

You never sign up or log in, and the app never asks for your name, email or phone number.

Stays on your phone

Your languages, reading and listening progress, favorites and downloads are stored only inside the app on this phone. Uninstalling the app deletes them.

What goes over the internet

The app downloads the book list from our server, and books, audio and covers from Dawat-e-Islami's servers. If a file is broken, the app tells our server which book it was, and nothing about you. Like any website, these servers may keep standard logs such as IP addresses.

Notifications

For the weekly booklet alert, the app uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google). It subscribes your phone to a group for your language and alert time — no personal details. Turn the alert off in Settings to stop it.

Usage statistics

To learn which features are used, the app sends our server daily counts — for example how many times a screen was opened or a book was played or downloaded — together with the language, app version and phone type (Android or iPhone). There is no ID: counts from all phones are simply added up, so nothing can be traced back to you or to the books you read. Turn it off under Privacy in Settings.

Crash reports

If the app crashes, it sends a technical report to Firebase Crashlytics (Google): what went wrong in the code, the phone model, system version and a random ID for this installation. It does not include your name, books or progress. Turn it off under Privacy in Settings.

No ads

There are no ads and no advertising SDKs, and nothing is sold or shared for marketing.

Unofficial app

This app is not made by or affiliated with Dawat-e-Islami. It is an independent, free companion to their public books and audio library. Every book, audiobook and cover belongs to Dawat-e-Islami / Maktaba-tul-Madina and is opened from their own servers.
